Welcome to the online forum for the Southern Africa Regional Meeting!
 
The Southern Africa Regional Meeting will take place in Malawi from 16 to 18 December 2009. The draft agenda foresees five main themes. We would like to kick start discussions and we invite you to share your comments and suggestions, your experiences, good practice examples,  challenges in relation to the five main themes of the conference. We offer some guiding questions – but please don’t feel restricted!

Performance Based Funding & Grant Management Cycle: efficient flow of funds, adequate and transparent reporting, transparent & effective procurement & supply management, effective M&E.

How do we simplify in an increasingly complex and resource constraint environment?

How can we improve grant performance, what are the obstacles, what needs to change?

How do we further build national ownership and strong sustainable systems for proposal development, grant implementation and oversight?
